Can you tell by the VIN which type of suspension a W-Body has??

I checked on the w-body site under vin decoding...it doesn't look like you can tell by the VIN, but I was just wondering

EDIT: Picture of RPO code below

Thanks

Look for the build sheet, usually located in the trunk on

thespare tire cover...

Alright, I just went out to look inside the trunk lid and all that is there is a sticker saying which tires to put on the car, and how much weight the car can hold..

I couldn't find a sticker saying anything about FE1 or FE3...could it be anywhere else on the car??

F41 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, FRT, RR, FIRM RIDE, HANDLING

Posted

F41 was what I had on my 90.. And every 90 Euro I've seen in yards had the F41s..

So is F41 good or is the Z34 suspension better (firmer ride and handling)...

???

UB3 :willynilly: his car got a cutlass cluster from factory.

That's actually the RPO code for the Euro cluster as well.
