1990lumina Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Can you tell by the VIN which type of suspension a W-Body has?? I checked on the w-body site under vin decoding...it doesn't look like you can tell by the VIN, but I was just wondering EDIT: Picture of RPO code below Thanks - Jeff L. Quote
herb427sc Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Look for the build sheet, usually located in the trunk on thespare tire cover... Quote
sl3196 Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Check your RPO codes on the trunk lid. Look for FE1 or FE3. Quote
1990lumina Posted April 16, 2005 Author Report Posted April 16, 2005 Alright, I just went out to look inside the trunk lid and all that is there is a sticker saying which tires to put on the car, and how much weight the car can hold.. I couldn't find a sticker saying anything about FE1 or FE3...could it be anywhere else on the car?? - Jeff L. Quote

White93z34 Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 F41 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, FRT, RR, FIRM RIDE, HANDLING Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 F41 was what I had on my 90.. And every 90 Euro I've seen in yards had the F41s.. Quote
1990lumina Posted April 16, 2005 Author Report Posted April 16, 2005 So is F41 good or is the Z34 suspension better (firmer ride and handling)... ??? Quote
DiscoStudd Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Check this page out: http://www.w-body.com/spring-codes.html Quote
