mihela816
There are several yards you could try, but doubt any of the ones close to us have any TGP's. I've only seen 3 TGP's in Sioux City. Lem's in Doon doesn't have any, but tons of other W parts. Theres a yard in Onawa I've been meaning to go to. Those are the only u-pull yards I know of around here. Aaron
From his post he is saying timing chain maybe that is why he is arguing with you? Just an observation... and anyway me and my cousin have an extra 3.4 with a broken chain, as far as we know no damage, and from what you say Aaron thank god!!!, new chain and we will have a back up 3.4 Even if it is a chain, same difference. JoroCorona
3.4 with a chain? Sounds like a 3400 too me.
Aaron
3.4 with a chain? Sounds like a 3400 too me. The 3.4l DOHC has both a chain and a belt. Remember, it is a pushrod from the pistons down.
streetdreams
Aaron didnt you write this?? "The 1996-1997 were interference. But I have heard stories of 96-97 ones breaking with no valve damage, and of earlier ones breaking with engine damage, so it really depends"
