dohc v6
well recently i got my car painted it has dupont base coat and a croma clear, clear. it is pretty nice i took out all the dents and it looks pretty flat. so i am in the process of wet sanding and buffing. now i got undermy hood painted the jams and the under trunk. now whrn they painted the outside the jams were done and and a little of the red paint got on the new jams and they looks awsome but now they look dull again. so how do i get just the light overspray off. Darkness
I always used Turtle Wax buffing compound and rubbed very lightly to get overspray off. It has just enough cut to do it without cutting into the paint underneath. Might take a little while, though. And make sure you use the buffing compound instead of the polishing compound or you'll be there for weeks!
THe_DeTAiL3R
Yeah I've also used rubbing compound to take off old oxidized paint, then polish compound, then wax, for a great shine.
