Ok so it's torn down to the frame allmost time to put it back together. So I want to replace the air intake on it. Can some on suggest me a nice setup that don't involve moving the battery?

Thanks

you could spend a ton of money on a CO2 intake cooler. then it wouldn't matter if you have a wai or a factory setup. my buddy and i thought of that a few years ago, then i'm looking around some tuner sites and actually came across one. if i had known people would actually buy something like that, maybe we'd be rich by now

I will be starting to make a few more of these sometime soon, if anyone is interested...
What exactly are you making? Just the shield, or the whole assembly? I'd be interested in buying just the shield (without the pipe or filter) since I have a 3800. I doubt a pipe for a 3.4 would fit properly.

Definitely keep me in mind when "production" starts up :D ...

I will be making all of it. The tubing is 3" mandrel bent. I can either coat it with the high temp engine paint, or leave it unfinished for the person to finish up. It will have the hole in the tube for the IAC, and it will have the hole for the crankcase vent tube(we had to mess with this to get it right, but it works pretty nicely now). Also, I will be making heat shields as well. They, again, can be left unfinished or finished. They bolt down to the bracket that sits underneath the airbox. It's actually kinda nice how it bolts down, and is pretty strong as well.

I really need to get pictures of it all dismantled. It's a pretty nice set-up, for what it is atleast.
