cryptnix Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 It appears almost as if it'll fit and it'll also drop me 1.25" ... Cutslp gave me the idea cause he's doing it too so I figured I'd ask the gang. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Regal GS monoleaf? If so, yeah, any W-body monoleaf will fit. Quote
JJ77 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Why not just wait until it saggs like I did Quote
JJ77 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 ohh, Mine probably sagged because the struts were not replaced for 70,xxx miles (not my fault) . Quote
cutlsp Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 i'm putting in the gs regal rear assembly out of a 95 gs regal coupe for the higher spring rate that the spring has stock and the way it is stock. but only after i buy new kyb gr2 rear struts for the car. i've been thinking about having the assembly powder coated black so it doesn't rust out like the 88 stock one did. plus the gs regal is lower from factory then any other w-body which is why i'm going this root. GnatGoSplat Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 :?: Can't say I ever noticed Regals being lower. GR2's will raise the ass end about 3/4". I'd like to find some brand new OEMs to replace the GR2's and see if it brings the rear of my car down to a nice height. I need 1.25" more drop out of the rear, but I'll take anything I can get. cutlsp Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 well i measured my car vs my friend's 95 Shawn and we have the same size wheels and tires. He has kyb gr2s his gs is a 95 (which is why i will only take a 95 rear axle) anyways compared to my cutlass his car was 1.23-1.25"s lower then it so i'm willing to bet it will lower my car  Quote
