fastbird232 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I'm very close to buying an '89 SE with all the goodies (trip computer, digital gauges, 2+2 seats, sunroof, etc.). It's been sitting since last October, has around 160-170k miles, and I need it for 400 miles of highway driving per week. Since I'm in college and have a newborn, and I have to be as stingy as possible, I was wondering if there are any quirks on these cars I should know about before something breaks. Also, after I'm finished with it, will its body panels swap onto my '95 GTP? Quote
jeremy Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 why would you put '89 SE panels on a '95GTP???? Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Maybe he has rust repair? Damaged doors, etc? Quote
fastbird232 Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 Yeah, they're starting to bubble in some spots. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 you would be a fool to discard the b4u on your 95. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 you would be a fool to discard the b4u on your 95. the 2.8/3.1 is pretty flawless as for quirks...but nothing that the normal 160+ mile car wouldn't have. Quote
fastbird232 Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 I hadn't thought about that. Good point. Quote
