90TGP Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Does anyone know how much the GP bodykit [front and rear bumper, side moldings, and fender flares] weighs? Quote
Prospeeder Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 not alot, its just plastic, mabye 10-15 pounds Quote
Justin Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Plus all the metal supports? And the dual exhaust's extra 3 feet of exhaust? You're probably looking at about 30-40 lbs over an SE or LE. But at least they look faster. Quote
Prospeeder Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 ohh, i thought he just ment the plastic, yea, the extra exhaust piping and metal brakets, wich wouldnt mean much, considering the SE and LE's also have to have metal supports for there rear and front bumper covers Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted April 3, 2005 Report Posted April 3, 2005 But at least they look faster. ...and looks better overall Quote
BurneroftheRice Posted April 3, 2005 Report Posted April 3, 2005 well...considering that a early 90s Mustang LX is faster then a GT only cause of the amount of weight ground effects the GT has. This person might be trying to justify finding a non-B4U car so itd be lighter. However this is only my hypothesis Quote
