no1kicker Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 This is from the GPX show car, I think it's pretty cool. Anyways I wouldn't do it to my car now. But I'm curoius on how to install it. I think most of the wiring would be the same, for the power, dimmer, etc. I'm not sure on how to go from four speakers (or six) down to just a headphone jack though. Quote
Brian P Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 I know of someone in the process of doing that actually. Quote
JoroCorona Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Whew, the headphone jacks shouldn't be that hard to find, goto radioshack and ake sure you get a stereo jack. Then all you would have to do is connect the left and right front speakers to one jack and left and right rears to the other. That way if one person wanted the music louder, they could adjust it. Have to watch out though. The HU amp will make short work of a pair of earphones if turned up too loud. Quote
GOT2B GM Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Finally! A good use for those square Sunbird decks!! Quote

cutlsp Posted April 3, 2005 Report Posted April 3, 2005 if only gm built cars the year after they design them and show them off they may have still had an edge over other car companies Quote
