SE vs. GT vs. GTP

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 1992 SE and the 1992 GT, both coupes, and obviously, the GTP is the loaded model. But what set a b4u SE apart from a b4u GT?

I don't know. I'm thinking Standard Equipment, but as you can see, since you can pretty much order just about anything on an SE that's on a GT, I guess it's all about badging.

If you have your GT sticker, feel free to compare it to my 93 SE sticker.

GT's [rare, but there is a black one in a local junkyard. weird, it still has the window sticker on it] are pretty much the same as GTP's. The one in the local yard is fully loaded minus leather, rear spoiler and a sunroof. I believe the GT's also came with the DOHC. I've also seen SE's with DOHC's.

I'm pritty sure any trim level of the GP could get the DOHC.

from 1991-96 i believe so...

My '91 SE had B4U, hud, high end tape deck, power trunk, steering wheel controls, cloth non-pneumatic seats, but no DIC or sunroof.

GT's could have probably gotten 3.4 DOHC's, but I believe GnatGoSplat posted before in one of my old threads about a GT that all the GT's he's ever seen had 3.1's. I have pictures of a 91-93 GT somewhere on my computer, it had DIC/HUD, quad gray leather buckets, etc. and a 3.1 in it.

The only thing that I can think of is that the GTPs were the only model to get hood louvers, correct?

Did GTs have badges on them or what? I can't ever recall seeing a GP that is 88-96 that says GT (it's either SE, GTP, LE, or nothing). Theres tons of 97+ GTs though..

I think the lightbar on the rear of the GT's read "Grand Prix GT"

and they said GT on the side too...in the same font as my LE, or some had the Cursive looking font stickers instead of badges

GT's were only 94-96 4 doors

This is in refernce to 91-3 GT coupes. I have 95 GT sedan and know what sets that apart... I dont see much disticntion between SE, GT, and GTP in 91-3 coupes.

Yeah, the GT's had GT door emblems in the same font and style as the Grand Prix emblem.
