Guest Anonymous
Does anyone know where all the bolts/ hookups/ whateer are located to remove the aq9's and the rear buckets, and what to do to remove them and reinstall? Thanks
digitaloutsider
Rear buckets: Um.. 1 13 MM bolt under each bottom portion. Pull the bottom side out. 1 10 mm bolt each side, 1 18(?) mm seat belt bolt each side. If you looked, you might know this.. AQ9's: Move the seat all the way forward. Remove the plastic bolt covers (phillips head screw). Using a socket (I DON'T remember which size, It was like 8mm I THINK), remove the bolts. Move the seat all the way backwards. Do the same for the front. There are 3 connections the driver seat. Power, AQ9 control, and air line. Be VERY careful with the air line control as it's probably brittle. Pull the seat out. Do the same for the passenger side. It only has two connections, AQ9 and air line.
LukeZ34
Shaun's exactly right. The bolts for the bottom portion of the rear seats can be a pain to get at. It's in the center of the seat, and sometimes you may have to lift the fabric of the seat out of the way to see it. The AQ9 front seats are friggin heavy, so be prepared. Baddflash
Try taking them out without being able to power them, than carrying the bastards through the J/Y.
Guest Anonymous
Im guessing i should remove them BEFORE i pull the engine then?
Baddflash
Atleast pull the 2 rear bolts then move it so you have access to the front bolts, that way you can leave it in there till you need to pull it.
