terryk2003
well, there really arent many...also, this subject has been discussed many times...try the SEARCH button... i know FFP makes a UD Pully for the 3100, you can build a custom CAI, do a custom exhaust...also a 3400 top end swap will give you a lil more HP, but don't expect alot...you could also go with a complete 3400 swap or even a L67 (3800 series II S/C) swap... z34_nut
RSM just came out with headers, didn't they? or was that a 3400, i can't remeber.

OldsmoBeast
I wonder if its possible to get a 3100 in the mid 6-second 0-60 bracket... My ex-gf's brother has a 2003 Silverado SS AWD....and he seems to think its the fastest shit around...wouldn't it be hilarious if my "fairly stock" 3100 could dust his ass... but of course, as it stands, my car does 0-60 in like 9.6 seconds and his is in the 6s somewhere... Maybe if you beefed up the internal, get the heads done, headers, and really good supercharger or turbo... ($$$)
OldsmoBeast
Yeah....i guess its not really worth it to me... I love my car how it is (even if it sucks at times) and I could always borrow my dad's car and teach that kid a lesson... YK

OldsmoBeast
I think sooner or later I'll just trade in the CS and get something new... Modding it out would be sweet...but I don't think I'll have the time or money

It's possible to make a 3100 do 0-60 faster then that.....go turbo and a simple kit with decent turbo at 6psi or so will probably net you the power you're looking for. Those SS' run about low 15's in the 1/4 mile from what I've seen, I saw one the other night doing 14.9's with a custom catback exhaust system. Also, do you mean your gf's ex? That didn't seem to make much sense, unless you're gay and consider the guy a girl. [/joke!!!!!!!]
OldsmoBeast
oops......haha! wow... i meant to say my Ex's BROTHER...but i totally left a word out... I'll fix that... as for the turbo stuff, custom turbo kits are a pretty involved deal, aren't they? Expensive too..
