pwmin
I ordered 245/45/16 Toyo Proxes T1-S tires and i hope they'll be ok. I measured the wheels off the car and with the tires off and they were 7" wide. I am sure of this. I have ran 245's on a 7" wheel on my camaro with no problems so they should be fine and the guy i talked to agreed but i hope they dont rub. I put some junk 225/50's on there to see how they fit and they werent wide enough to look good and noone makes a good performance tire in anything but 235/50 or 60 and those are way too tall so i went with the 245's. i'm prob going to get crosslaces later anyway. i wanted to get the new konig unknowns in 17's or 18's but that would require too much money. i also ordered an addco bar today and am going to order greasable energy suspension bushings for it if i have any problems. hope i dont have any problems with either thing
90TGP
I have Nitto 235/45/17, not sure if they make the same size in 16's. The 245's should fit fine.
slick
My summer rims and tires are 245/45/17's, and my car is lowered. They do not rub.
GnatGoSplat
I don't think 245/45's are recommended for a 7" wide wheel. Sidewall height plays a big part into recommended width. 245/50 would have been fine.

GnatGoSplat
I would have gone with 245/50's anyway. 245/45-16 will look awful small on a midsize car.
