LuminaMan93 Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 I am going to change the rear struts in the Lumina sometime this week. I was wondering which struts I should go with. Monroe sensitrac or the KYB's? I'm looking for the best balance of a comfortable ride and good handling. Thanks. Quote
bartonmd Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 KYB GR-2 (Make sure to do the mounts too, even if they look OK) Mike Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 everyone will reccomend the KYB's. However, when I went to do it, all I could get was Monroe Gasmatics. They were a huge improvement over the stock ones. I'd say that whichever way you go you'll be happy. Quote

pwmin Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 imo the gr2's are not good if you want a comfortable ride Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 I have the Monroe Gasmatics on the rear of my car and they seem to perform really well...I did add a Rear Sway bar from a 1992 Lumina Z34, which i highly recomend as your car will handle much better....Stock 30mm front bar and the Z34 rear bar=sweet for not a lot of work. GOT2B GM Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 I've got Monroe Sensatracs in the back of my Z34 and I like them alot. Quote
