how can i clean my O2 sensor (i think)

Im having a problem with my O2 sensor (i think) there is a some hesitation when i try to accelerate uphill, i had a 91 grand am that had a similar problem, i found that O2 sensor easily and sprayed some carb cleaner on it to solve the problem, but where it the O2 sensor in my 91 lumina? btw its a 3.1 blah blah blah

on the rear exhaust manifold. You'll see one green wire going to it. However, I wouldn't clean an O2, just replace it.

Yeah..they aren't to expensive so you might as well just replace it

You can place the tip of it(if it's not obvious, this is the side located inside the exhaust piping) in the flame from a propane torch to "clean" it. Doesn't hurt to try this if you have a torch handy, other then that, it's usually best to replace it.

So which brand of Sensor would you recomend? I think my sensor is also bad, i get lots of hesitation when i try to pick up speed. It stops doing it once I reach about 40, It feels as if one of my Spark plug wires were bad. but I just replaced them not more than two weeks ago, for the same reason, I also checked the plugs and replaced them. Still, it does it. :?:

Check your coilpacks. I'd put money down that that's your problem.
