91chevyluminaeuro Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 Im having a problem with my O2 sensor (i think) there is a some hesitation when i try to accelerate uphill, i had a 91 grand am that had a similar problem, i found that O2 sensor easily and sprayed some carb cleaner on it to solve the problem, but where it the O2 sensor in my 91 lumina? btw its a 3.1 blah blah blah thanks Tony Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mfewtrail Posted March 20, 2005 Report Share Posted March 20, 2005 You can place the tip of it(if it's not obvious, this is the side located inside the exhaust piping) in the flame from a propane torch to "clean" it. It stops doing it once I reach about 40, It feels as if one of my Spark plug wires were bad. but I just replaced them not more than two weeks ago, for the same reason, I also checked the plugs and replaced them.
