Prospeeder Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 thats tiny! it probably makes what, 8 PSI max? Quote
mfewtrail Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 I'd throw that puny ass turbo on a go kart/shifter kart or something. http://home.flash.net/~lorint/lorin/ ^Info on those Fireflys, turbo sprints, etc...couldn't find if they used that turbocharger though. Quote
ShockTherapy Posted March 18, 2005 Author Report Posted March 18, 2005 I see the pics now thats a baby turbo maybe from a Firefly or one of those 3 banger turbo GM's? what do you intend on doing with this turbo? Cornerdealy you may be able to get away with wasting space in the other sections but i doubt you will in here Keep it up, should be good watchin i have no idea what it's out of, my guess is a TGA or Turbo Sunbird... i just need all the info/specs/lineage on this bad boy... and i intend to turbo my 1994 SL1. and if you ignore conrnerdealy he'll get bored... he told me himself. Quote
Prospeeder Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 they had Turbo Sprints, Geos, Swifts, and Fireflys, but they were still like in the 16's or 17's Quote
mfewtrail Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 That might be a "M-10" turbocharger I believe, I tried searching for some info, looks like they might have been on early 80's turbo Mopars that made around 142hp(at least, one size of the M-10 turbo made that amount of power on a 2.2 liter 4cyl...I think they were non-intercooled also). Jeff M Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 M10 is the casting number, no matter it won't do any good on a TGP So go put it somewhere else . On a 3.1L it won't even make 8psi, not enough flow, actually it would be run off its map/overspeed if feed by our engine's exhaust! And NO, a 2.8 is not that much smaller, stick it on a motorcycle or wetbike or snowmo, bye. Jeff M Quote
LukeZ34 Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 Heh, that'd be perfect for the 1.3L on my Suzuki Samurai! Quote
ShockTherapy Posted March 18, 2005 Author Report Posted March 18, 2005 that's why it's going to go on my 1994 SL1 with the SOHC 1.9... if it dosent work for me, Luke, PM me if you're seriously intrested. Quote
