alright i tore down my motor for the rear headgasket. i took off the head and the rocker arms that i was suppose to. I had to take out some of the fornt ones to get the intake maniford gasket off. I put everything back and tighten the rocker arms when they were in the closed position to 19 torque. now my motor knocks when it started up and now won't start. i put a socket on the cracnk and the was a hisssing noise you could hear inside the motor and got a little harder to turn at some points. The hissing noise sounds like it want to build compression but let it come out could it be a mixed up push rod mybe? or did i put the rocker arms on wrong? any advice can help right now i want my car back its been two weeks! :(

well was it a upper end knock or a lower end knock? odds are that you had the upper end apart something is wrong in the upper end. Take it apart again and see if you notice anything. Did you have the heads resurfaced?
