Darksyde
anybody with the 3.4/4T60E combo..... at half throttle my shift from 1-2 is 5000rpm at WOT my shift from 1-2 is 6700rpm Is the wot shift to high or sound about right? What's the safe shift point?
5speedz34
It sounds high to me. IIRC I thought the auto's shift at 6500, but it really shouldn't change since it's controlled by the ECM
Darksyde
i do have the FFP chip....that raised the shift points....i was just wondering if where it is shifting is safe. I've already lost 1 motor , i don't need to lose another :bawl:
WhiteOut
At half throttle on mine I'd say its about 4200 RPM or so, at full throttle I'd say around 6500 RPM.
Canada
Your part throttle is going to vary with engine load, vechile speed, and your exact throttle position.....besides, you aren't racing at part throttle.
JJ77
I have an FFP chip, and it shifts at 6700 or 6800 rpm at the 1-2 .
