3pt1lumina
This is happening on a 2001 Silverado at work. It is going in for service on 3/17, I will let you know what it is on that vehicle. I know nothing about ABS, my best guess is there's a selinoid or something that went bad????? I'm sure someone with more know how can tell you more, but anyways, I'll let you know about the diagonsis on the work truck.

MoTox8410
how much is a sensor about???i now remember being this problem on one of my freinds 97 pickup and the sensor was like $400 and he just unplugged a sensor and went without ABS
z34_nut
you can do that, but then you don't have ABS and down the road, it will get more expensive, it also depnds on who you go to.
herb427sc
Scan the brake system to find out the problem. If it is a wheel sensor, Clean the rust away where it is mounted. Rust build up is usually the problem.
z34_nut
Scan tool will not always tell you the immediate problem. unless its wheel speed sensor, it will pick that right up.
