SSPSU93 Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I aquired a DIC for my 95 gp gtp. I noticed that my temp was reading -40. Thanks to the patient people in this forum they explained to me that I would need to purchase a new outside temp sensor. They also explained to me that I would find some type of wirring harness close to the hood latch frame and radiator. Since my car did not have a DIC to begin with it did not have the wiring harness for the outside temp sensor(thanks to the patient people in the forum). I have come a cross an old outside temp unit with wiring. The wirng has two wires one green and one purple. My question is were can I connect these wires for my temp sensor to work? Here is an example of the wiring that I found on ebay-- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7960693830&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT Thanks for being patient with me. Quote

99RegalGS Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Yep, doesn't matter which way they go. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 IIRC, the wires I had to splice into were yellow and green, but that sensor should work. Quote
