TGPilot
Hey all, I need to track down my brake light issue on the TSTE and have not seen any manual's up for sale with a full diagram. If someone could scan and send me via email, or photocopy and send via snail mail...it would be greatly appreciated. I need to see exactly where the stop light wires go from start to finish! Thanks guys! Kenny 8)

LukeZ34
What was the problem you were having again?
TGPilot
No right side brake light. It does not show on the DIC until I turn on the headlights and it shows "tail-light" on the right side...not "brake-light". I need a schematic to track it down to the source. I know people have said to replace the TSS...but I want to see the diagram... 8)

LukeZ34
It may be something in the DIC control box too.. I can remember others having similar problems with the headlights not working because of some problem wires at that box. Good luck!
mfewtrail
These should get ya' started. Let me know if you can't make out any of the words/colors on the diagrams and I'll let you know what they are. http://home.alltel.net/mfewtrail/hosted/wire1.jpg http://home.alltel.net/mfewtrail/hosted/wire2.jpg http://home.alltel.net/mfewtrail/hosted/wire3.jpg http://home.alltel.net/mfewtrail/hosted/wire4.jpg http://home.alltel.net/mfewtrail/hosted/wire5.jpg the "wire5.jpg" picture is the main stoplight one if I'm remembering right..the pics/files are pretty good size so may take a while to load if you have a slow connection. no1kicker
Like Luke said, you could always try bypassing the DIC box. It probably isn't the problem cause it's only one brake light that doesn't work. But that was my problem when my headlights would not work. TGPilot
I tracked the wires all the way back. Had good continuity through the wiring all the way back to the DIC box but no power on the pin for going back to the right side brake lights (darkblue/white wire). I pulled the DIC box and looked at the wire on the input side instead of output. Just a touch of corrosion...reconnected the plug and WAH LAH...right rear brake light working!! no1kicker
Glad to see it is fixed. Looks like that DIC box is a common problem. Maybe some resoldering would help, like the cluster and RKE box?

Not on mine.....it was melted on the headlight tail light and brake light sections...because someone desided to put aluminum foil in the relays insted of just getting new relays. So IM looking for a 4dr dic computer
