1990lumina Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Holy shit.. if that even fit in any trunks it would cause great ass end sag (especially in early w's) and that would be so fuckn loud you probably couldn't here yourself think! Where do you get an amp to power that baby lol? - Jeff L. Quote
Aaron Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 I doubt there is an amp that could keep up, you'd need to use like 8 amps inline Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Holy shit!!! Wonder how much volume of an enclosure that thing needs... jeez Quote
J Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 sell your car for a sub and a few amps. good luck with that shit Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Hahaha ... here's the perfect vehicle for it. Build MDF walls on the inside and cut a hole in the roof. Quote
kadeas Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 It's a f'n beast!!! I have the next model down, the MTX 9500 15", and that is all you'll need!! Quote
Puggsley456 Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 I'm sure its decent. But I wouldnt pay what they are asking for it. You can get something that will do as good a job if not better for a hell of alot less! Quote
jdcutty Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 All I can say about that is, DAMN. How much were they asking for it anyway? I looked for the price and couldn't find it. Quote
slick Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 Would really only be good for an SPL competition. I couldn't see anything like that being any good in an SQ competition. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 You really dont need anything that big, its just a matter of bragging rights, saying I have this you dont and my system is better. but yeah id like to know what there asking for that fucking beastly sub. Quote
Puggsley456 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 All I can say about that is, DAMN. How much were they asking for it anyway? I looked for the price and couldn't find it. Its for displays and shows only right now but the rumor I heard was arround $6000. Quote
loominaz34 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 If the cone on that were aluminum it would be far more useful. you could use it to make rice and other ethnic foods normally cooked in a wok. I think Cbad has found the perfect vehicle as long as there's enough space in the roof to mount the sub. I just don't think there's enough roof space for a 22" sub there. :x 8) Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 found the perfect amp to power that beast, http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLA6000GTI 6,000w RMS x 1 at 12.5v 7,500w RMS x 1 at 14.5v Quote
