MoTox8410 Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 what might a good belt look like under the inspection plate on a 93 3.4 DOHC when i was looking at mine the belt wasnt in the center of the cams and on the end of the belt were like "flaps" really hard to explain id give a pic but dont have the capabilities so Picture would be greatly appreciated!!!! MoTox8410 Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Posted March 8, 2005 u can see the same metal as that but its probally a 1/2Cm off the cams and there are like thes "flaps" on the side of it + u a can kinda c where there are teeth through the belt how could i get the belt centered on the cams its been siting for about a month now.... z34_nut Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 sould be tracking straight on the cam gears. i have a great pick of my timing belt shredding through all the timing covers and leaving fragments every-where in the engine bay. but thats on the other computer. Quote
