OneQuickCutty Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 just wondering cause the other is stronger and can handle more power Quote
brian89gp Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 the HD version of each is rated within 5ft/lbs of each other. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 No, the 4T60-E has vacuum line pressure control while the 4T65-E is fully electronic. Quote
speedyguy_ty Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Both can be made to handle the same hp and shift firmly. The 4t65-e can be had cheaper as a replacement. If you already have a 4t60-e you will find replacing just the tranny will lead to changing out the whole engine and computer as well. Cheaper to buy a performance 4t60-e if you plan to not swap out your engine and computer. Ty Quote
91GranSport Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 What if you have a regular 4T60, what are you swap options? Quote
speedyguy_ty Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 What if you have a regular 4T60, what are you swap options? Through ASG Domestic Performance gets blue printed 4T60's as well. You might be able to swap in a 4T60-E, but I'm not a 100% sure. I'll find out. TY Quote
