Oil surger?

yes, when you press the gas, the cam turns faster, which is gonna turn your oil pump faster, making more pressure. As teh car warms up, you will see a lower and lower idle oil pressure. This is normal. The oil pump springs on 90+ 3.1Ls and 3100's allow for this. Pre-90 oil pump springs are like normal GM oil pump springs that sit at a constant ~40psi no matter how much throttle or how cold/hot the engine is.

Chrysler Oil Sensors (Atleast on the 4.0 I-6's) are complete crap. In the few years that I had my Jeep i replaced that sucker like 4 times. Just straight-up junk... :bash:

I've never driven a w-body with a manual tranny..but if the pedal is mushy maybe there's some air in the system..try bleeding the clutch a bit.
