Rabbi
one of my tires is way out of alignment in the front. They want 300 bucks to do a full alignment because apparently i need new inner tie rod ends. 300 bucks is just insane. How can i straighten the front wheel up myself, i dont need it perfect but i do need it a little better.
joberlee
The inner tie rods are not that hard to do. You just need the right tool, which you can rent from NAPA. Then take it in to a tire shop and get it aligned. They are probably hitting you pretty hard to change the tie rods.
THe_DeTAiL3R
Yeah do the tie rods yourself, I've done it twice it's not complicated it just takes some wrestling with the wrench if they're rusted on tight. While your at it check the balljoints, if they're half worn might as well replace them so you don't need to worry about paying for alignment again for a while. Alignment should only be like $50, the rest they're raping you on parts/labor.
