mfewtrail
Found a cheap alternative to Taylor/DEI/etc. boot protectors(they usually run $50 for a 6 pack). http://cableorganizer.com/insultherm-spark/ ^Great for any of you 97+ GTP guys(the other late model cars/engines might have em' as well) that hate those metal spring loaded ones. I'm ordering a set of the black ones for the TGP.

cutlsp
or you could buy the 50' roll of that stuff and cover the whole spark plug wire. JCwhitney offers a 50' roll for 30 bucks thats where my money will go

mfewtrail
The only problem I see w/ the long rolls of the material is that when you cut it, it's going to fray around the edges most likely. Some of ya' might not care, but I like everything to look clean(the ones I posted have a rolled/sewn edge so they don't fray). If the material was black, it probably wouldn't be as noticeable though. I found some similarly priced material in "black" earlier, trying to find the website again. EDIT: http://www.koolmat.com/wire.shtml But it's 25' length...25' should be more then enough for our cars. 8)
cutlsp
how are you suppose to remove the boots without breaking them?
mfewtrail
how are you suppose to remove the boots without breaking them? Say what? I'd assume you would slip the material over the end that goes on the coilpack since it's smaller and then work it down to the top of the boot. That says 7/16'' diameter so you'll probably end up needing the larger diameter plug boots anyways(unless you can stretch it easily??).
