Obviously sanding and bodywork but what else?it really depends on how bad your current paint is. If its chipping, i would take it down to bare metal. Then prime and do bodywork and prime again. Take it to the paint shop with badges and trim removed, and the detailed areas masked. Then the shop only has to mask the bigger areas and shoot.I believe Maaco uses a single stage paint which sucks IMO. Have the shop you go to use a base/clear.
