Grand Moff Joseph
Over the past few days, I have noticed that my engine (3.1L), has sounded pretty rough at idle. Then yesterday, as I wasparked waiting for someome, the car started to shudder, in the sense that I could feel large shudders coming through the car from the engine. So, I popped the hood to check it out, and I saw that the engine was literally bouncing back and forth, with the front two engine mounts moving as well. I can only assume that this is not supposed to happen like that. So, does this call for new engine mounts, or is there another cause at play? Regal_GS_1989
could be a combination of a couple things. Yea, the mounts could be worn out, but maybe there is also a weak of dead coil pack, or something making the engine miss, and run rough. Robby1870
check out the bushings on the dogbones first. If they look okay, then go to ignition stuff, plugs/wires/coils. Then, go to injectors and FPR maybe EGR.
HokemBokem
I was also about to say check your fuel injectors. My engine was starting and idling kinda rough so I got some injector cleaner and some seafoam and now It starts right up like she used too
