SSPSU93 Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 I'm looking to replace my fuel injectors in my 95 gp gtp(3.4l). Are they easy to do? Is there a web site to follow a step by step approach? Does anybody have any suggetions on what type of fuel injectors that I should buy. Quote
slick Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Again, not hard to do. I'd do the intake gaskets at the same time you swap the injectors, because, well you'll have it torn apart anyways. As for the type of injectors, see if you can find some 96 or 97 3.4 injectors. There supposed to be quieter and flow just a bit better. Quote

I'm sort of a novice, so should i buy a chiltons manual to help me to replace my gaskets and injectors? Thanks again. Quote
slick Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Yeah, a Chilton's manual is good for basic repairs. Heres a link to a couple good write up's on some repairs. Hope this helps. http://www.60degreev6.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=DOHC&file=index&req=listarticles&secid=7 Quote

I tried using it to replace my alternator and the bolts that it said held it in place didn't get the thing out. It was a huge embarrassing failure. Quote
