Guest Anonymous
I found this wiring harness in the 92 GP today. It was tucked in behind the glove box. It has a green and a black wire running into it. Anyone know what it could be? Maybe the power trunk release button?

digitaloutsider
It's the same color too. I'm guessing they made all the dash harnesses the same, regardless of whether you got the remote release or not.
1990lumina
Might as well add the trunk release in now - Jeff L.

GnatGoSplat
Yup, that's for the trunk release button.
Broan
Check in the trunk to see if you have a harness there too. If so a trunk release should be plug-n-play (plus a fuse) otherwise you'd have to run a wire from the glovebox to the trunk.
