ron350
Ceramic brake pad info needed. Anyone who has installed Ceramic brake pads what brand did you use and did they have the anti squeak steel shim riveted on the back? Have not read about anyone using Friction Master Ceramic from Advance yet?
WhiteOut
I've got the NAPA ones installed on my car, and yes they had the wear indicator riveted onto the pads.
pitzel
Raybestos Quietstops on the fronts here: So far, so good. Good stopping power. Only have a few thousand miles on them, so haven't had a chance to inspect for wear yet. Only noise I get is from the rear brakes which are probably still using the factory pads. In all likelyhood, I will shell out the bucks for Quietstops on the rears.
Brian P
Prostop Ceramics at all 4 on my Cutlass. The '93 Cutlass and '02 GP have them on the fronts. Stop great, don't overheat and warp rotors, very little dusting. They have shims bonded on the back, but I used the anti-squeal spray as well.
