sspeedstreet Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 On 91, 92, 93 3.4 DOHC Lumina speedos in KM/HR, what is the speed range? Thanks Quote
1990lumina Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I think 180km/h is the highest the speedo shows. Is it different then the 1990 Euros? My 90 Euro shows 180, but I can't get the car to that speed lol Pic from my trip home today (90 Euro speedo) - Jeff L. Quote
Brian P Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 Someone else wil say it, so I'll say it first: "Wow schweet man I need to find a way to make that speedo show 180 MPH!" Maybah a resistor! Quote
Stealth Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 I have the 3.1 and its 180 kph, it tops out at 170 Quote
Daggar Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I have the 3.4 and had it past the 180 KM/h mark down in the states when heading to portland. Thats when I saw the state trooper in my rear view......... Quote
Baddflash Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 180 kph is the top for any lumina cluster regardless of year or motor. The only difference for a 3.4 cluster is the redline on the tach. Quote
sspeedstreet Posted February 17, 2005 Author Report Posted February 17, 2005 Someone else wil say it, so I'll say it first: "Wow schweet man I need to find a way to make that speedo show 180 MPH!" Give that man a cigar! I'm modifying it to use in a Fiero swap. Thanks all for the help. Quote
Daggar Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 180 kph is the top for any lumina cluster regardless of year or motor." Acually my 1991 with the 3.1 and the "granny" cluster only went to 140. It was cool though burying the needle on it past 140 to the bottom of the cluster. Quote
1990lumina Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Lol ,this is off topic, please forgive me, but me and my friend took out his mom's Bonneville SSEi and it shows 180km/h on the speedo, needless to say we buried the needle way down in the bottom of the dash to the point where we couldn't see it. - Jeff L.
