Need some help with my ball joints and tie rod ends.

Well from my other post in whatever, the guy says there is nothing wrong with neither but I am doubting that. Im going to inspect my car friday with someone who would be able to tell me if they are no good and from there I will fix them my self. (everyone is saying its a snap)

 

what im asking for are for some steps, and any pictures that could help me.

 

i need pictures, telling me without any visuals does not help me all that mutch.

IIRC: Jack the car up and grad the wheel at 9 and 3 and shake it left to right, and if its loose it's ur tie rods. Then do it at 12 and 6 and if its the its ur balljoints.

On my car, grabbing at 9 & 3 had play, but the tierod didn't move, the balljoint did!

 

I didn't really expect that, but replacing the balljoint fixed it. It's a good idea to get a visual just in case.

well got the car back today, it feels exactly the same, but now instead of my steering wheel tilted to the right, its straight, it just feels really sloppy!

Well it sounds like he gave you a alignment then, I would go back there though and take care of business.

yah he gave me an alignment, i will jack my car up tommorow and try the test you told me to do. they gave me off tommorow(pier 1 sucks!!!!) anyway, yah im gona fuck with my car all day tommorow.
