Aaron
Well my dad is trying to install our 94 crate engine into our 92 Z34. Everything is going fine, except there is a 3-wire loom and plug coming from like right underneath the crank pully in that area. One is green, black, and red IIRC. What is this for? Did the 94s have a sensor down there? If so, I guess I'll leave it unplugged like the cam sensor, just not sure. Thanks!
5speedz34
Don't the 94+ have a extra CPS there?
Brian P
it's the "Hall effect" sensor used for the SFI basically only used to improve idle, and possibly driving while under 2500RPM
Aaron
Well then it goes into trash can...lol Not really, I will just have him tie it out of the way with like a zip tie or something, and leave it unplugged. Thanks!
