wires from crank on 3.4L DOHC crate motor, what are they?

Well my dad is trying to install our 94 crate engine into our 92 Z34. Everything is going fine, except there is a 3-wire loom and plug coming from like right underneath the crank pully in that area. One is green, black, and red IIRC. What is this for? Did the 94s have a sensor down there? If so, I guess I'll leave it unplugged like the cam sensor, just not sure.

Thanks!

it's the "Hall effect" sensor used for the SFI basically only used to improve idle, and possibly driving while under 2500RPM

Well then it goes into trash can...lol

Not really, I will just have him tie it out of the way with like a zip tie or something, and leave it unplugged.

Thanks!
