dohc v6 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 i was driving the other day and the brakes got very hard like the harder you push it still does nothing. what could cause this and could it be that my brake are loosening up Quote
Regal_GS_1989 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 it sounds to me like you lost the power assist to the brakes. Maybe a vacuum line is broken or came off some how. Quote

Yeah check yhe big vacuum hose that goes from behind the plenum to the brake booster , check your master cylinder , and hoses . must be it Quote
dohc v6 Posted February 11, 2005 Author Report Posted February 11, 2005 so you dont think it is a warped rotor. ok where should i check for the hoses and the brake booster hose is a braided stainless steel one Quote

Dannymik Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 warped rotors make the pedal pulsate, thats the biggest indication. Its something that you really can't see visually. Quote
