4T-60 Transmission

Hey guys.. the 4T60 tranny that would be found in my 1990 3.1 Lumina is operated by vaccum right? If it isn't then I'm just a dumb ass and nevermind lol... but

Can someone tell me where vaccum leaks tend to occur on our cars? I think I may have one..when shifting out of park to drive my tranmission takes about 1.5-2 secs to shift into drive..when I first got this car it used to be shorter..

It seems almost like when you put your hand to the end of a vaccum cleaner and it kind of has some pull on your hand and as you get closer the more..then when it sucks your hand tightly against.

This seems like what is happening with my car. It is slow to shift from park to drive.. but once it is in gear there is no problem..

my fluid is up..I first noticed this when you was reversing and a car was coming so I put it into drive quickly and gave gas and it didn't go right away.. like revs to 1500 then it caught.

So now I just wait for it to totally shift into drive before given her gas...

Any ideas baout vaccum leaks or anything??

And totally off topic, but the 4T60-E is electronically controlled and stuff right??

Thanks guys!!
