Brian P
After installing the roller heads w/LS6 valve springs, 3400 lower and upper manifolds onto the 3.1, I noticed a power increase, but I had nothing to base it on. Well my mom has a '95 Cutlass Supreme as well (sedan) and I was driving it today and noticed it felt quite a bit doggy compared to mine. Back when my car was all stock it felt the same. Well I figured let me pull out the Gtech and do a few runs. When stock, I had a best of about 16.8 (I writeoff the trap speed times Gtech displays as always above what it should be. Noticed that with all the cars I've gteched) and an average time of 17.0@83 Took it out tonight and I get these numbers: 1st run: 15.8@92 2nd run: 16.3@88 (wheelspin) 3rd run: 16.1@90 Fucking nuts. The only other difference is I have a cone filter on for schits and giggles. In about a week I'll recheck it with the stock box, but still DAMN I didn't think changing those parts would make that big of a difference. Now I gotta see what opening up the exhaust will do. Just wanted to share as proof that the upgrade is definetly worthwhile.

DiscoStudd
Glad to hear it went well! Gives me some hope for when I decide to do the swap on the ole GP. I have a couple of questions for ya, though. 1. I'm curious if you had to swap out your pushrods when you installed the roller heads, or did you reuse the ones from the stamped heads? 2. By using the cone filter, did you lose any bottom end torque, or was that negated by the greater flow from the 3400 manifolds? 3. What did you do for the EGR? Did you fab up your own adapter plate? Brian P
1- I cross referenced part numbers, turns out the 3x00 pushrods are the same whether you got stamped steel, or roller style rockers. It's the "Gen 2's" that are different. 2- I might have lost a little power between 2500-3500RPM, but really the 3100 doesn't have any low-end to begin with, so it didn't bother me. 3- http://www.60degreev6.com/store for the EGR adapter plate. Pictures of the install are here: http://www.60degreev6.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5067
DiscoStudd
I guess I should visit 60* more often! I didn't even know there was a "store" over there  . Seeing that you got your car down into the low 16's/high 15's, I'd say it's a totally worthwile upgrade!

FWIW, I picked up .4 seconds in the 1/4 in similar weather just by gutting the sides of my airbox, and leaving the stock filter in it. Allowing these engines to breath is a bid deal - Justin
slick
I've always heard good things about hybrids.
