bigbadspoon
I am currently in the process of replacing a bunch of leaky gaskets in my cutlass's 3100 and thought that as long as the inatke manifold was off, maybe I should look into a port and polish. Anyone know what kind of power to expect or what kind of cost for just a basic kind of job? Also, do they do both upper and lower manifolds or just one of them? Jcrow
You wont get as much power by porting the manifolds as porting the heads. Don't know what kind of power you might get
slick
You really won't gain much power, but it will help. You will mainly just want to gasket match your intakes. You can take it to a shop to have them done, but not sure what they will charge you. If you really want decent gains out of it, get the upper plenum extrude honed. You will realy notice the gains out of that.
