Grab as many service manuals as you can for your car. Start with the Hayne's and/or Chiltons you can pick up for less than $15 at your local auto parts store. Then search eBay for a Factory Service Manual for your vehicle. The Hayne's and Chiltons will present the info in "Layman's Terms" and be easier to follow, but they aren't as detailed as the FSM's. The FSM will be very vauge in its descriptions, but will be more thorough (not to mention model and year specific...)

Unbolt/unplug everything you see. Put a taped label around the harness at each connector so you know where they go later. Buy a few boxes of ziploc bags and label them for the bolts. Pull the hood off, front tires, front axles.. etc (if you're pulling the tranny with it anyway, which I recommend.

how far are you from pittsburgh/Zelienople?

about 4 hours

where the hell is the drivers side mountin bolts i can't find them, and i was told to just disconnect the trans from the motor cuz there would be to much squeezing and pushin with its connected when its bein pulled out?? thus true?

jsut disconnect the bulkhead connector at the firewall on the pass side, coolant lines, fuel lines, etc. dogbone mounts. and the 3? engine mounts under cradle, if you have alot of room you can disconnect the transmission, just get the bellhouseing bolts and unbolt the flexplate. its not a very hard task. time consumeing.

or you you want to pull the trans with it, go for it. just pull the half shafts out and disconnect the linkages from the trans.

i would pull the engine & transmission together out the top. the hardest part (well, not really hard just time consuming) is pulling the axles out. just do what GutlessSupreme mentioned and you should be good to go. i'd pull the whole engine wiring harness out WITH the engine and still connected to most of the sensors (you'll have to disconnect the firewall plug and unbolt the ECM from the fender, unplug fans, PS pressure switch etc). good luck
