first euro3.4 with a 3800?

I might be doin a S/Ced 3400 01+

i was thinking about that but the turbo sounded more appealing. although..now that i hear you are intrested in it...i may do my research. thanks dude. update me if anything happens.

 

does any1 have a pic or article of a s/c 3.4? i mean...psycho keeps telling me it impossible but i dont think it would be. would be nice to prove him wrong, yet again.

 

and for all to know...i finally got my z hood.

Try not to confuse the 3400 with the 3.4TDC that you have, totally different motors, well from the block up anyway. I think Steve's point about not being able to s/c the 3.4 is the lack of space under hood, that's the only reason I can think of cause if you can turbo them you can s/c them.

 

The bellhousing is the same regardless if it's a 3.1,3100,3800, L67 etc... There's no reason you can't go with the L67 it's just more work and you'll need to use the 4t65-e HD your 4t60 won't hold up.

 

Chevy did build a s/c 3400 Grand Am but it's never gone into production.
