slick
Ok, heres the situation. I've only really had to put down my drivers window this winter, so I'm not sure if it does apply to my passenger window. Anyways, I go to put my window down. It go's about half way down, then really starts to slow down, a lot. It makes a sound like put put put, kinda like the motor wants to turn, but its not. It go's up just like normal, but down sucks. Any ideas?
White93z34
my windows do that on colder days, some really cold days i can't put the window down at all.
1990lumina
Sounds like the weatherstripping might be a little stiff on the outside or inside pulling on the window maybe.. if you help the window down (by using your hand) will the window go back up like normal? Or your motor might be packing it in, dunno. I know my car they work well, except for the days the windows are frozen shut!
terryk2003
sounds like the motor is about to die...
slick
I tried pushing on it, but it didnt help any. It go's up just fine, like nothing is wrong with it at all. Just going down sucks.
Slade901
Either the motor is dying or try lubing the rail tracks slider where the power window regulator slider (you have to remove the door panels to get to it).
99RegalGS
The windows on both my cars do the exact same thing when it's cold.
