90TGP Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 What's the bolt-pattern and offset? Quote
GTPrix Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern wont fit. Drew Quote
Trep Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 The BMW bolt pattern is 5x120, they wont fit on any W-body. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Actually, everything I've read says Trep is right, BMW should be 5x120 (won't fit). Remember you measure the diameter of the bolt CIRCLE, not bolt to bolt. Quote
jeremy Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 5x110 does that pattern even exist?? I know of 5x100, 5x108, 5x114.3, 5x115, but I have never heard of 5x110..... Quote
Trep Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 5x110 does that pattern even exist?? I know of 5x100, 5x108, 5x114.3, 5x115, but I have never heard of 5x110..... 5x110 is found on some Saturn's & Saab's, and 5x112 also exists on Audi & Mercedes. Quote
jeremy Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 interesting...either way they sure as hell aren't going to fit on a w-body... Quote
the duke and me Posted February 4, 2005 Author Report Posted February 4, 2005 i put the friggen things on a different lumina at the shop today so yes they do ill post pics when i put them on mine Quote
CuttySup Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 this i gotta see.Yeah, dude, they won't fit. You had to have modified them or hammered them on, b/c they sure as hell didn't go on smoothly. And they ARE NOT 5x110! I just checked tirerack.com Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 I can see how they might fit... usually lug holes are a few millimeters bigger than lug studs. The bolt circle difference is only 5mm, so the difference in radius is only 2.5mm. It might be possible to shove the wheels onto the studs, but the studs will be 2.5mm off center in the holes. At any rate, IF the holes are oversize enough that they fit, the lugnuts won't torque down properly and I predict the wheels will vibrate like crazy! Quote
the duke and me Posted February 5, 2005 Author Report Posted February 5, 2005 you might be right so have decided to change my rims to something else i guess im going with grand am gt wheels Quote
