I don't think SuperBuick is around anymore. But anyways, I'll give that a shot. Guess I need to get it somewhere when my car is still cold, and theres a hose around too. Kinda sucks living in an apt. complex.

I Have never covered anything when I clean my engine. The only thing that has ever happened is it misfired for about 10 minutes until the coil cleared up. But that coil cuts out anytime it gets wet, or it is really humid outside. It's on my 88, so i'm not too worried about it.

My Regal engine has always stayed pretty clean. I cleaned it with a power washer once about 2.5 years ago. I didn't cover anything. Just made sure not to soak the alt or the coils. She started up right away and had a slight miss for about 10 seconds. That was all that happened.

The Cutlass seems to be staying clean also. :)
