It stopped working, however, only to the point where it won't shut itself off, so I didn't worry about it, I just shut it off myself now. Then a few months later, the resume/accel part of the cruise control stopped working. These are the functions that are activated by pushing the switch to the spring-loaded right side, if you need a refresher. I'm ready to fix the problem, but I'm cheap, so I need to do it again.
