Schudini Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 I am thinking about getting an electrically activated exhaust cutout from quicktimeperformance.com. Has anyone dealt with this company before or have any suggestions? Quote
sonyman87 Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 i would like to get one of those motorized ones aswell, aready have the cutout i just want the attachment but there is no way im playing 300bux for it expecialy when the cutout itself is only 35bux. if they can get the price under $80 then i would consider it [edit] ok they are nolonger 300bux but still more tyhen $180[/edit] Quote
NOHC_WBody Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 Just get a cable operated one, or one secured with wingnuts and save the aggravation of having to send it off for repair(or having to buy another one) when the electric motor in it dies. All I've heard about those things is they're nothing but expensive trouble. Less ground clearance, heating the electric motor with the exhaust, electronics exposed to the elements...you get the idea. no1kicker Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 I have the qtec on my Trans Am. It's an awesome toy, in about 4 seconds you go from quiet, to 70's muscle car. Quote

How long have you had it? What hardware did you mount to the flange with the valve (open pipe, turned down tip, nothing)? Quote
