justa6
i have a problem in my 94 cutlass supreme. it has the 3100 mtoor if that matters. my blower doesnt seem to be working any more. it seemed to be getting weak earlier tonight, and now, nothing comes out. its like the fan is disconnected. im pretty sure it is the blower motor but i thought i would double check. how tough is the blower to replace? i dont have my hayne manual with me up here, and lucky this week wil be warmer, but still in the 20's. so i need it fixed asap! any help is greatly apreciated! thanks in advance! any step by step instructions would be great. loominaz34
having repaired my blower motor about 1 month an a half ago, I'd say it's a pain in the ass but not difficult. It's on the passenger side under the dash about as far up as something the size of a soup can can go. It's held in by 3 small bolts. My advice is to take out the back one first. It's the one that I spent over an hour of swearing at. After you disconnect it and unbolt it, it's a contortionist act to get it out without breaking the fan.
