3.4 rebuild

The tranny mods are good, but just wait till you feel the 5-speed, it just slams into 2nd, and plants you. It lands right at 5000 into 2nd, very sweet. I wish 3rd could be a bit closer, maybe a 85mph redline instead of 95, same goes with 4th. That is where my dads 6-speed shines, 3rd and 4th.

 

I just wish I wasn't having charging issues. I KNOW that if I wasn't, once it shifts into second, it would be near 4000-4500 rpm. With my cheap ass tires though, it will still chirp shifting into 3rd. Reminds me, the other night, i was going at about a 5 mph roll, and gunned it. Spun all the way through first, even bounced off the rev limiter a few times

Goddamn another similarity, I also have had charging issues. I believe it wa sin part do to the UD pulley and battery. But we had BNI auto electric, an AWESOME redneck shop here in colo springs, rebuild my alt with performance pieces. This and the Optima redtop battery, and I havnt had a problem in about a year and a half, where before, it was new alt every month.

That is the problem. Right now you say yah, as soon as I get the money. 2 months later, I've made you turbo headers, you have the money, but you aren't gonna want them for whatever reason. I will make some DOHC Fiero headers when I make mine, basically a carbon copy except with longer runners and smaller diameter, but that is it, none for the Z34s. I could only do them for 5-speeds anyway, and I'd only want to do them if I'm already doing a set for myself, so i could just copy it, but no such luck.
