GrimZ34 Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 lol omfg wtf am I thinking, I ment to ask what manaual tran's hook's up to the 3.4 dohc in a mc..And is it easy Quote
rudefyet Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 in that case it should be easy to hook up to the engine only things that will be a PITA is adding a clutch pedal and modifying the center console (since a 95 monte never came w/ a standard) also you may have to grab a OBD I computer so you can use a 3.4 DOHC 5-spd Chip....all 91-93 DOHC's have obd I last, good luck finding a Getrag 284...they are rare as hell Quote
Aaron Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 A Getrag 282 is a lot cheaper, and will work just as well. And yes, it will hold the power without a problem. IIRC, in 1997, the Z34 got the 4T65e 4-speed auto... Quote
GrimZ34 Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 damn i can see this is going to suck to try and find a trany but an auto is old and boring, And the colum will be easy just a little fiberglass and a rubber boot and im all set 8) Quote
