I would turbo it if I was you. You can't just swap a s/c from an l67 with out alot of work. Not sure what all you would have to do but would probaly just be easier to put in a l67.

Join up over at http://www.l67swap.com . There's a guy over there who added an L67 supercharger to his L36-powered Impala. Sure sounded complicated, though. I think you'd be better off swapping in a complete L67 drivetrain instead.

http://www.zzperformance.com sells an adapter harness for swapping from an L36 to an L67. They also sell a turbo kit for the L36.

you have to change the heads, lower intake, and fuel rail for sure. You don't have to change any engine internals, but it would be advisable as the L67 has forged pistons, rods, and crank

gpracer is right, i answered you on l67 but wasnt sure exactally, but those are what you have to change, i swapped an l67 in my buddies 99regal and left the non supercharged trans and we havent had any problems. your best but most expensive bet with your existing motor is a turbo kit.. but i would highly suggest the swap...for this swap you use your l36 harness and add wires for the bypass valve on the supercharger, though the motor will perfectly fine without even doing that, you also have to run an extra wire to bypass the pass key, if you use the l67 computer, but again the l36 computer will run just as good with no mods to it(thats what my friend has been running for a couple months) its also cheaper to buy a l67 without the supercharger the place i bought mine charged me 500 dollars for my super charger....ive also got an extra super charger, throttle body and fuel rail if you offer the right price.....the l36 to l67 swap is really easy if youve changed a motor before, everything bolts up, and your a/c compressor and alternator(from certain years) will all swap over to the new motor also the exhaust will just bolt up.. i would say you could easily get a l67 with low miles and no super charger for around 700 and maybe a supercharger for 250 to 300...and if you still have doubts look at the 1/4 page on l67swap and see the times, these motors are amazing and for 60 bucks you add a pulley that gives you 30 hp..you cant beat that!! ive personally have had this motor for several months in my 94 cutty and it passes the emission test and will stomp most cars stock, a week after i put it in, i beat a 2001 mustang gt, manual, flowmaster exhaust and rockers...it was a slow beat, but i still beat him, and with a stock motor..lol my aim is skiba5310497 if you have any questions, and if you live close to me id be willing to help with the swap for a peice of pizza and a day old room temperature beer

if you want to supercharge your L36 then zzperformance is currently designing a m90(supercharger) kit for our motors and it will cost about 1K. Here's the link to the discussion over on clubgp about it. Zoomer is the guy who has all the information on what parts come with it and any other details.

hmmmm? prolly not with the different size engine bays and exhaust and stuff, but it might be worth a shot, good luck getting a 100,000 miles plus engine to hold up to that, oh and lets not even talk about your trans!

Would that first urbo kit work on my 3.8 in my 95 Regal?
Too many differences between the Series I and Series II.

Get a supercharger and lower intake from a 94-95 Series I L67. Do a search on eBay. I found one for $200 last year. It came complete with the supercharger, intake, injectors, fuel rail, etc, etc:

It will bolt right up to the Series I L27 with no modifications, and you won't have to change the heads either. It likely won't grenade your drivetrain either, seeing as the Series I L67 had the 4T60-E...

i bet if you rebuilt your engine(depends on your mechanical skills) and tranny you could do it w/out reliability issues. THose 3800 series 1's arent bad engines. My friend dropped one in an a body and it moves pretty well.
