CuttySup
When I go to pull out of my driveway, and stop at the end, I can hear a grinding noise from the rear brakes. So I'm thinking, alright, new pads. But as I drive, the grinding goes away. I'm going to check out my pads, and I'll probably get new ones (I can hear the screech plates), but I was just curious if the heat plays any role in making the grinding noise from worn pads lessen. terryk2003
well, mine grind when i back out of my driveway, and it goes away as i drive...but, i just put new pads on over the summer...when the disks get rust build up on them they will make intersting noises til it wears off...maybe thats the problem!? CuttySup
I dunno. It's just wierd to me to have the grinding noise go away as I drive. I've ridden in and driven many cars with nothing left on the pads and the grinding does not go away!
